If you live in a house with multiple computers, you may want to share your iTunes library of music, media, etc. across all of the computers in your home. This is a pretty easy task.
- Open iTunes and open Prerences.
Click “Sharing.” Check the box that says “Share my library on my local network.” You can share the entire library or share specific items. You can also select whether you wish to have a password. I would opt for a password, especially if you are in a dorm or if you are on a laptop and will be using it on public WIFI (coffee shops, hotels, etc.)
Now, your library should be listed in the iTunes library of other iTunes users on your network.
