This post will show you how to insert videos into Google Slides. When inserting videos into your Google Slides presentations, you have three options.
- You can search YouTube for the video that you want to use.
- You can paste a link to a YouTube video that you want to use.
- You can use a video that is stored in your Google Drive account.
This post will focus on inserting videos from YouTube into your Google Slides presentation.
Here are the steps.
Open Google Slides.
Select the Insert Menu and select Video.
This will open up a dialog box with the options mentioned above, which were searching for a YouTube video, pasting a link to a YouTube video, or selecting a video from your Google Drive account.
For this post, I decided to post to one of my videos. I copied and pasted the URL (the website) from YouTube.
Once you’ve selected the video you wish to use, press “Select.” The video is now inside of your presentation.
You can resize the image that it places in your presentation. During the presentation, you can operate the video just like you would any YouTube video. You can change the speed of the video, and you can also make the video full screen. After you are done watching the video, click Escape to return to the presentation.
